THE SUN EAGLE SINGERS are a well-known Indian singing group
based in Farmington, New Mexico. Since being formed by lead
singer Delvin Keeswoof in 1979, Sun Eagle has become a populat
and successful performer of Northern Plains music at numerous
powwows scattered across the U.S.
MAJOR MUSICAL INFLUENCES include the Red Leaf Takoja, White
Eagle Singers, and countless others who have graciously
shared their music and their good times. Other influences
from the
Rocky Mountains, Montana, North and South Dakota, and Canada
have produced a style easily recognizable as Sun Eagle. |
