WILLIE BAD HAND’S SONG
Composed by Willie Bad Hand. In the early seventies, Willie worked on a ranch near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. One day while riding a tractor, the repetitious hum of the engine gave him this song. It was performed by Red Leaf for the first time at the ’75-’76 New Year Celebration in St. Francis, South Dakota. The version on this album is shortened from it original length but it still retains the beauty of the song and the strength of its performance.
